Amber Lotus will not sell or trade our customer's personal information.

Can I view my total before my credit card is charged?
Yes, the checkout portion of our website works in three steps. First, it will ask you to enter your shipping address. The next step is your billing information. At the top of this page, you will see the itemized total for your order, including shipping charges. If you agree to the total, you may enter your credit card number and billing address. Your card will not be charged until this information is entered and you click the "Place Order" button.
What are acceptable payment methods?
Payment may be made with a credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express) or with a personal check or money order. We cannot ship orders to consumers C.O.D. or ship an order and bill you for it later.
Orders may only be placed online with a valid credit card. You may also call in your order toll free at (800) 326-2375 or fax to (503) 284-6417.
To mail your order with a check or money order, please use our printable order form. Customers outside the United States not ordering with a credit card must use an international money order in US funds.
Checks returned for non-sufficient funds will be charged any fees that we are obligated to pay our bank (currently $5.00) and an additional $20.00 service charge at our discretion.
Can I receive an Amber Lotus catalog with my order?
Yes. A catalog will be included with all first-time domestic orders (with the exception of orders shipping as gifts). If you would rather not get a catalog with your order, please make a note of that in the "comments" section of your order.
I did not receive an email confirmation of my order. How do I know if it was processed?
Often times, spam blockers will block our confirmation emails from customer's inboxes. If your email account has a spam or bulk mail box, please check to see if the email has been directed there. You can also update your email preferences to allow messages from "amberlotus.com" to arrive in your inbox.
If you did not receive your order confirmation and would like to check on the status, please email neworder@amberlotus.com with your name, address and date the order was placed.
How long will it take to receive my order? How are Amber Lotus' shipping charges calculated?
Orders generally ship from our fulfillment company in University Park, Illinois within two business days. Domestic orders ship by Priority Mail, which generally takes up to four days in transit. International orders ship by Airmail, which generally takes up to two weeks in transit, depending on what part of the world the order is shipping.
Please allow extra delivery time around the holidays.
If your order is late and you would like to check on the status, please email gbarry@amberlotus.com with your name, order date and order number, when available.
Shipping costs are calculated by destination and number of items ordered (our catalog does not count as an additional item). Please see our individual order page for our shipping rate tables.
Will I have to be home to sign for my package?
If no one will be home to sign for the package and it will not fit in your mailbox, your postal delivery person may leave it on your porch or near the mailbox, or they may leave a notice that the package must be picked up from your local post office. In most cases, it is up to the delivery person as to whether they deem it safe to leave the package there.
If you know that someone will not be there to receive the package, it is best to leave a note for the delivery person letting them know where you would like the package left (your porch, with a neighbor, etc.) or if you would prefer to pick it up from the post office.
Can Amber Lotus ship overseas?
Yes, our website allows international orders. Overseas orders are shipped by Airmail, which generally takes less than three weeks for delivery. Amber Lotus also has distributors in Europe, Asia, Australia, Canada and South Africa. You may be able to find one of our products in your area by visiting our international order page.
Can my order ship to someone else as a gift?
Yes, simply enter the recipient's name and address on the shipping address portion when placing your order. On the billing information page, please make sure to enter your billing address and click the box indicating that the item is a gift. This will insure that we do not include an itemized receipt with the package; instead we will mail the receipt separately to you at your billing address. If a separate billing address is not provided, the receipt will be included with the order. You may also enter a short gift message in the comments field of that page. The comment will be printed on the packing slip accompanying the order.
Can Amber Lotus gift wrap my item?
At this time we cannot gift wrap items.
Can my order be shipped to multiple addresses?
In order for our shopping cart to calculate the appropriate postage, a separate order must be placed for each shipping location.
Does Amber Lotus offer free shipping?
From time to time we offer special deals to consumers, which may include free product, special discounts or free shipping. Please check our specials page for current deals.
Is there a store in my area that carries Amber Lotus products?
If you are looking for stores within the United States, please email your zip code and the product or product type that you are looking for to gbarry@amberlotus.com. If you are writing from outside of a major city, it is helpful if you can also list surrounding cities. Though we may not be able to confirm that a store will have a specific product in stock, they may be able to order it for you.

How can I carry Amber Lotus products in my store?
Amber Lotus sells wholesale within the United States, and is also available through a number of distributors, domestically and internationally. Please visit our wholesale information page for details.
Can I order product as promotional/gift items for my non-profit?
Yes, please call our office for details. A tax exempt certificate number is required. If you wish to order items to sell, please see our wholesale information page.
Does Amber Lotus offer older calendars?
We generally continue selling current calendars through May of the corresponding year. After that, we get rid of remaining stock to make way for next year's titles. If you wish to purchase an older calendar after that point, we suggest trying Amazon.com, where many used booksellers will offer calendars going back quite a few years.
Can I order mixed packs of greeting cards?
The only mixed image sets of greeting cards that we offer are our boxed sets. All other cards must be ordered in quantities of six, as our cards are prepacked with six copies of the same card and six envelopes.
Allposters.com carries some of our cards and will fill card orders individually. You may also try the artist's link - in some cases they will offer mixed sets of their card lines.
Does Amber Lotus offer prints or posters?
We do not sell prints and posters. Many of our artists and photographers offer prints and posters of their artwork through their personal websites (please see our links page).
Snow Lion Publications in New York offers a number of Buddhist themed prints and posters.
Can I suggest a product to be included in your catalog?
Amber Lotus is always happy to receive product suggestions from our customers. If there is an artist, photographer or writer that you would like to suggest, please email that information to info@amberlotus.com.
If you would like to submit your own work for publication, please follow the instructions detailed in our submission guidelines.
Amber Lotus only carries those products that we have published ourselves (with the exception of a few books by other publishers that correspond with Amber Lotus calendars).
Can I submit my artwork, photography or writing for publication?
Because of the volume of submissions that we receive, we have certain requirements for submitting work. Please see our submission guideline page for details.
