Coleman Barks is the author of numerous Rumi translations and has been a student of Sufism since 1977. Pema Chödrön is a leading exponent of teachings on meditation and how they apply to everyday life. Mark Downey's images are featured in the Dalai Lama:Heart of Wisdom 2009 calendar. His work has been published in numerous books and magazines, including Forbes, Geo, Islands, National Geographic, New York Times, Newsweek, and Time. He has donated proceeds from his work to UNICEF, (Children of the World calendar), and in 2005 he did a benefit to raise money for Tsunami relief. The Gitter-Yelen collection of Zenga paintings featured in the Zen Mind 2009 calendar is widely regarded as one of the preeminent collections in the West. The Manyo'an Collection of Japanese Art focuses on Edo-period (1615-1868) works in the Zenga, Nanga, Rinpa, Maruyama-Shijo, Ukiyoe, and Eccentric styles.
