We plant trees–more than ONE MILLION and growing!

Amber Lotus Publishing has been planting trees since 2009 to offset our carbon footprint and resource usage. As of January 2024, we will have financed the planting of 1,251,000 trees through our partnership with Trees for the Future, a nonprofit organization that provides resources and training for farming communities in five countries in sub-Saharan Africa.

NO SINGLE-USE PLASTIC

To reduce plastic pollution, we have eliminated single-use shrink wrap on our wall calendars.

SUSTAINABLY SOURCED

We use Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) certified paper. This label means the paper is sourced from wood harvested from socially and environmentally sustainable forests. We also use environmentally friendly soy-based ink.

CARBON OFFSET

One of the many advantages of planting trees as an offset strategy is that trees remove CO2 from the atmosphere on an ongoing basis. Trees for the Future estimates that the 1,251,000 trees we have planted will eliminate 45,200 metric tons of CO2 over 20 years.
