We plant trees–more than ONE MILLION and growing!

Since 2009, Amber Lotus Publishing has been committed to reducing our carbon footprint and resource usage by planting trees. In our ongoing partnership with Trees for the Future, a nonprofit organization that provides resources and training for farming communities in five countries in sub-Saharan Africa, we’ve proudly financed the planting of over 1,250,000 trees.

NO SINGLE-USE PLASTIC

To reduce plastic pollution, we have eliminated single-use shrink wrap on our wall calendars.

SUSTAINABLY SOURCED

We use Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) certified paper. The FSC label certifies that the paper is sourced from wood harvested from socially and environmentally sustainable forests. We also print with eco-friendly soy-based ink, furthering our commitment to sustainability.

CARBON OFFSET

One of the key benefits of planting trees as an offset strategy is their continuous removal of CO2 from the atmosphere. According to Trees for the Future, the trees we’ve planted are projected to eliminate more than 45,000 metric tons of CO₂ over the next 20 years.
